Monday, June 3·4:30 – 5:30pm Description: Spring is nesting season for birds, many of whom have recently arrived in the Berkshires after spending the winter in places as far away as South America. The annual northward migration of birds is one of the great miracles of nature — driven by the imperative to create new generations. For several years, local bird photographer John Felton has photographed nesting birds and their offspring. This year he has created an exhibit of nearly 50 photographs of young birds, ranging from chicks still in their nests to juveniles that almost — but not quite — look and act like their parents. The exhibit will be in the J. Peter Scolforo Gallery from June 1 through 30.
