Berkshire Health Systems and the Berkshire Vaccine Collaborative is working with The Berkshire Eagle to present a 1-hr presentation on the state of COVID-19 in our community as we approach the beginning of summer and the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Sean from PCTV suggested that I reach out to you all to see if you might be able to simulcast the program live for your communities? It is scheduled to air this Thursday, 5/27 at 1pm. If you aren’t able to air live, would you consider airing the program in repeat?
The discussion, which will be moderated by Francesca Paris of The Berkshire Eagle, will cover:
Where we are now with COVID and vaccination in the Berkshires and how to navigate the summer season
Why get vaccinated and what healthcare looks like in a “post-covid” environment
Vaccine hesitancy and how we’re addressing it in vulnerable communities
Mechanics of where and how to get vaccines now that clinic offerings are changing
We would be grateful if you could help share this important public health information with your audiences throughout the county. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Jennifer
